Angelo Mathews:
Angelo Mathews Srilanka was born on 2nd June 1987 in Columbo. Angelo Mathews age is 37. He is the former captain of the Sri Lanka team in all formats. He led the Sri Lankan team from 2013 to 2017.

Angelo Mathews Controversy:
Angelo Mathews Srilanka, during the ICC World Cup 2023 match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. In match No. 38 of the tournament, Angelo Mathews was given out without facing a single ball.
He came to bat after Sadeera Samarawickrama was dismissed in an unusual manner. However, Mathews arrived at the crease wearing the wrong helmet, which led to an appeal by Bangladesh for a timed-out.
This incident marked the first timed-out dismissal in international cricket.
